The CMP application is valid for two years from time of acceptance.

While the process to CMP status attainment is underway - accepted CMP candidates are encouraged to sit their exam as soon as possible.

As from the 2nd quarter of 2012 – the CMP exam will revert to a computer-based format.

The computer-based benefits are:

• A ‘window’ of exam dates and times will allow candidates alternatives in being seated for the CMP exam more suitable to their professional commitments;  
• The South African exam sites are likely to be : Johannesburg & Cape Town
